I purchased this duffuser and oils with my own money and am not receiving any compensation from the companies for the review of their products.

I recently decided to get on the essential oil diffusing bandwagon.  I have found that I often like the smell of many oils so I thought I would give it a shot.  I keep seeing ads for these things everywhere!

I decided to go with an Aropey Cool Mist Humidifier/Diffuser as it is relatively inexpensive and has a few features that I like.  It has rainbow of LED color changes (so pretty!) and you can set it to run for 30, 60, 120 or 180 minutes. The mister and the lights can be operated independently of each other.  It is very pretty and relaxing to watch change colors.

See it for yourself.

Next was kind of the hard part.  What kind of oils should I try?  They can get pretty pricey, so I read a few reviews online and opted for Plant Therapy at this time. I ordered a kit that contained three oils, lavendar, peppermint and lemon. They arrived in a little wooden box. This certainly makes them easier to keep together and out of any direct light as well.

I have to say the oils have a lovely smell to them.  I mixed them with water as directed for use in the diffuser.  The lavendar and the peppermint came through strong. The lemon was much more subtle. I found I had to use a fair amount more in the water to notice the lemon fragrance coming through.

What tips or tricks do you have for diffusing oils?

What are your favorite fragrances?

Much love,Stacey trasp bkgd
