I live in mid Missouri, but have always enjoyed the surfer/beachy lifestyle type fashion. (And why exactly haven’t I moved..?)
I decided to order seven Pura Vida bracelets (as seen in the photo above). I just love the styling and color. A lot of times in the past I have had a hard time finding bracelets of this style. They are adjustable waxed string bracelets that come in a variety of colors, and for every one sold, the company makes a charitable contribution to any number of different organizations.
At the time of this writing, their website states that they “have partnered with over 174 different charities around the world and have donated more than $1,440,822 to causes we believe in.” I think that is pretty good for a business selling (mostly) $6.00 bracelets and that was founded in 2010.
It is a win/win to me. I get affordable AND adorable bracelets, people have jobs and numerous charities receive funding.
I even went ahead and joined their monthly club. $14.95 shipped for three unique bracelets every month. I should be getting my first one of those sometime this week. (Keep your eyes peeled for the review on that!)
I am sure that you have noticed some of the ads on the page, and yes, I earn a small comission if you click on one and purchase something. But I do actually really like these bracelets.
